Candle Care Tips
Before each use, trim the wick to about 1/4 inch (0.6 cm) to prevent soot buildup and ensure a clean, even burn. Long or crooked wicks can cause uneven burning and excessive smoking.
When lighting your candle for the first time, let it burn until the wax melts evenly across the surface, creating a full “melt pool.” This helps prevent tunneling and ensures an even burn in future uses.
Avoid burning candles for more than 3-3.5 hours at a time. Burning candles for extended periods can cause excessive heat buildup and may lead to safety hazards or reduced scent throw.
Never move a burning candle. Extinguish the flame, allow the wax to cool and solidify, then move the candle if necessary. Moving a lit candle can cause wax to spill, leading to fire hazards or burns.
Place candles on a heat-resistant surface, away from flammable materials and out of reach of children and pets. Always burn candles within sight and away from anything that could catch fire.

How long should I burn the candle for? Burn candles 1 hour per diameter of the container. Our large is 3.5 hours and our small is 2 hours. Extinguish using the lid of the container to keep smoke to a minimum.
